Many of us come to a point in our lives where we want to make a change. We may want to:
- Discover a new direction for our careers
- Gain more work life balance
- Develop keys skills in our leadership
- Overcome an unhelpful habit
James Flaherty articulates the purpose of coaching well when he says:
“Coaching is a way of working with people that leaves them more competent and more fulfilled so that they are able to contribute to their organizations and find meaning in what they are doing.”
At its core, the purpose of coaching is growth and change. Too often we find ourselves locked up and unclear about how to go about making the change we want in our lives. This is the power of coaching. Through probing questions, a supportive partnership, and honest reflection, coaching can help you gain new insight and identify solutions so that you become more resourceful.
This site is an online portfolio that explores the way I approach coaching. Here I share more at length about my perspective on coaching, the kinds of resources I use, and how I have worked with past clients. If you want to find resources by topic, click on the folder icon on the top left.
